PLACED: Senior Account Director, Direct/Digital/Integrated, $125-165K, NYC

We’re looking for an extraordinary and inspiring integrated Account Director to champion great creative, inspire client engagement, and have an eye towards agency growth.  Plus be nice to be around:)

This boutique, indie agency exists to help people make more inspired decisions and develop more inspiring habits. With a passion for connecting people emotionally through action, they believe that insight and creativity can change everything. And they love proving it with outstanding work and careful measurement.

The Account Director is at the center of leading and growing the client’s brand and business. Success is about inspiring action in the client, the consumer and, ultimately, the marketplace. The best work delivers results, changes behavior and drives the business objectives. An effective storyteller, you’ll work across creative channels but absolutely must have strong direct marketing experience and 8-10+ years of ad agency experience.  Financial, healthcare, education, technology category experience a plus.

As lead for the business strategy, you can be the rock of the integrated team, able to pull together the necessary team members from Planning/Account/Creative and additional resources in order to have the most success in the endeavor. You’ll work to understand the client’s business, the competitive context, the cultural nuances and the target audience insights to make great work happen. With strong strategic thinking abilities and a love for stellar creative, you innately develop collaborative, long-standing client relationships through trust.

You’ll make the complex simple with your organizational skills, and you’ll communicate and lead in such a way that clients and team members want to follow you. You manage junior staff by example and with patience. Your process is collaborative, but you take full responsibility and accountability for the outcome. You’re able to master the tough conversations – with team members and clients alike.

These folks value love, courage and understanding. Their intolerables are dishonesty, lack of curiosity and empathy, or any action that undermines the team.

Boutique ad agency and imagination shop with solid leadership and extensive creative accolades is seeking a Global Group Account Director to lead an international CPG brand.  But not just any group account director. This eclectic, hard-working community harnesses the power of collaboration and understanding between brand, agency, and consumer.  The Account team functions across all known (digital/tv/print/ooh/etc) and emerging media channels to deliver successful client campaigns focused on Creative and supported by Strategy.

This individual will manage existing engagements and projects while actively growing the client’s business, capitalizing on the momentum developed with senior leaders.

This individual will nurture their account team, helping to ensure an ecosystem of creativity, high-productivity and support of developmental goals. This is a faced-paced, fun, hands-on position with extensive ongoing client contact managing a diverse array of client projects, from web builds and banners to print and promotions. Serving as the integral link between the agency’s creative team and the client, you’ll assist in the planning and execution of ad strategies and initiatives; oversee day-to-day account activity; manage approval processes; document key account details; manage budgets and timelines; collaborate with the Group Account Director and creative team to develop and present agency work; help to gather and analyze client information and periodically monitor competitive activity.

Please have 5+ years advertising agency account management experience; lifestyle brand experience preferred (travel/hospitality/luxury/fashion/arts).
