Currently seeking an Associate Director of Digital Strategy who will work with the digital team to assist with paid search campaigns for agency clients. The ideal candidate will flourish in an entrepreneurial and non-layered environment.  We’re looking for someone who is driven, analytical, proactive, methodical, and personable with a can-do attitude.

Primary responsibilities include overseeing the client digital media planning process from inception through final delivery. You’ll develop and present digital media plans for national and local media efforts for search, social, email, display, mobile, online video, and Connected TV. You have proficiency in paid social campaigns with proven experience generating revenue from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube. Viewed as a strong strategic resource for clients, you conceptualize and promote new creative, custom offers, advertising ideas, and campaigns for affiliate marketing channels. Additionally, you’ll create/implement campaign tracking tags to measure ROI from each effort and handle the reporting and performance analysis for all direct response campaigns. You can recommend the type of creative and messaging needed to build awareness, drive engagement and boost sales.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working in an advertising or digital media agency or at a brand
  • Proven history of driving results for eCommerce brands
  • Mastery of Google Ads, Connected TV, Online Video, Social Media Ads, and programmatic buying platforms
  • Understands conversion tag implementation, especially via Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with web analytics applications such as IBM Digital Analytics, Google Analytics and Omniture
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • A passion for continuously testing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to garner the strongest results
  • Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to work independently

The job.

Build a top-notch agency creative team and be responsible for overall quality of work produced. Reporting to the President, this lead Creative Director should:

  • Be responsible for managing the agency creative process from concept to completion.
  • Possess expert knowledge of the business side of design and advertising; translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with agency and client teams to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives.
  • Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer need and the competitive landscape.
  • Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design and technology.
  • Partner with social/digital media team to manage and direct in-house agency content studio.
  • Ensure visual communication, brand standards and strategic brief initiatives are met.
  • Have an instinctual grasp of what will work when branding a client; developing a marketing plan; concepting a social strategy etc. and understand what creative ideas will play well in the market.
  • Present, or oversee presentation of work and obtain approvals for deliverables.
  • Actively participate in recruiting, hiring, training and leading creative staff.
  • Manage and cultivate career development of creative staff members.
  • Determine and monitor productions schedules and provide work direction to staff.
  • Prioritize work and resources across projects based on short-and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with creative, account and production teams.
  • Improve quality results by studying, evaluating and reworking creative process and procedures.

The Producer has 3 primary roles:

Account Management: This client-facing role requires effective and professional communication between the client and agency team. Being a highly connected liaison between client and creative team is a must, as well as being able to interpret and communicate feedback. Maintaining status reports, scheduling and leading conference calls, presentation preparation, post-presentation follow-ups, etc. are just some of the daily, routine tasks. Experience in agency account management (or similar client-facing roles) is a plus; please be able to maintain and grow client relationships through excellent communication, creative thinking, and problem solving.

Project Management: Using a PM system for creating and maintaining project schedules, OOP estimates, resource allocation, checking for quality control, tracking brand style updates across many projects, and keeping internal teams on-task to meet schedules. Proactive at managing expectations of Production, Creative, Strategic and Account teams, as well as Client teams. Comfortable with fast-paced project turnarounds.

Producer: Experience as a producer in the traditional sense in a variety of tactical mediums is essential. Creative feasibility and budget awareness are also primary responsibilities. Experienced with creating budgets and tracking costs, and successful at delivering projects on time, to spec and within budget.

The Producer manages various Digital and some Print projects for new and existing retail clients. They are responsible for the work from kickoff thru final production. High-volume experience including, email, print and digital initiatives is mandatory. Having an overall understanding of 360-degree production is important, as many projects often contain several deliverables of varying media types. Candidates should have at least 3 years experience as a Producer. You should collaborate effortlessly, self-manage, and partner well with others.
