At core, the ED, Packaging is responsible for the impactful creation of shelf-back, social-ready 2D designs and package design layouts that help drive overall brand strategy. You understand that packaging is the key sales vehicle and design with consumer shopping habits in mind, across all channels (travel retail, specialty multi, department stores, online) in partnership with visual merchandising & store design. Strong in industrial design, this seasoned ED leads teams in concepting and ideating product designs (primary packaging) in line with brand needs and market trends, bringing packaging newness to product innovations while staying true to heritage facets of the brand identity. Utilizing retail expertise, the ED designs across various consumer touch points, including specialty-multi and open-sell as priority, with a strong focus on social/e-commerce. Partnering with other departments to ensure omni-channel connectivity, you leverage knowledge of competitive landscape and trends, always having a finger on the pulse, gaining inspiration from everywhere.

Named a “Top Entrepreneur” by Crain’s magazine, this boutique independent ad agency is seeking a high-performance junior Production Artist to assist in creating long-lasting cultural connections.  This role will focus on engaging audiences across all media channels, from social to traditional print work; as such, your background should be truly integrated, including digital.  You’ll partner with a Creative Director on projects ranging from resizing and collecting files for publishers to retouching and video.  To succeed in this collaborative and casual environment, please be pro-active, detail-oriented, articulate and polished.  Previous ad agency experience is a plus – preferably 1 year or an intense internship at minimum.

Have what it takes to work for an iconic American luxury brand?

Internationally recognized luxury retailer seeks a temp-to-perm Integrated Production Artist for their in-house Advertising and Production team.  A laid back perfectionist, you’ll be responsible for the creation of print mechanicals, creating digital banner ads, emails, evites, and the execution of prepress functions.  You’ll ensure quality control and help manage the workflow of print projects (catalogues, direct mail, collateral, PR, ads) from inception through final production in support of strategic brand initiatives.  Considering your focus will be on a luxury account, a flair for the affluent and previous category experience in fashion/luxury/beauty/retail would be ideal.  A creative eye with strong knowledge of typography, color theory and layout composition required.  Please be personable, poised, resourceful and detail-oriented.  2-4 years of experience as a Production Artist with proven Adobe CS5 capabilities.
